MATERIAL & TEST DATES

Reading - We will be reading "At the Library" this week. 

Spelling - We will be going over lesson 4.  The spelling test will be on Friday.  Check the spelling words HERE.

Social Studies - We will cover families and family trees. 

Science - We will be starting our insect unit.

Math - We will be covering addition facts through 12. 

MISCELLANEOUS

To say that last week was an unreal/sad week would be an understatement.  The tragedy that our country faced made for a very tough week.   Events like this sure do keep things in perspective for all of us.  I assured the students that they are safe at all times and need not worry.  

To show you how the effects of last week can be felt all over is shown by our mealworms not arriving.  They are shipped next day air and would have been at school on either Tuesday or Wednesday.  Who knows if they will be alive when they finally get here.  So we will see when our science unit gets underway.  

I hope to see everyone on Thursday's curriculum night.
