Space Station Facts

    If this is your first time visiting Mr. Miller's Space Station, allow me to extend a warm welcome.  I am a teacher in a second grade classroom utilizing what I believe is an exciting learning medium the students can use in addition to the classroom.  

    The main focus of this page is to excite students about learning through the use of technology outside of the school setting.  The site can also be a very useful tool for parents in order to find out testing dates or important school dates & functions.  A site such as this will not be exciting and engaging for all students, however, it is my sincere hope that many will like the idea of learning on ones own time in a fun matter. 

    The location of this site was picked due to the nice price tag (FREE) for putting it online.  The way Fortunecity works is as though it were a town.  People who set up a web site try to get an address in the neighborhood (topic) that they feel fits their website.  The location of my site is in a kid orientated area that does not allow chat rooms or any inappropriate material for children.  The one downfall of this page is the necessity of the advertisement box you see at the top of the page.  All I can say is disregard it and you will quickly forget it's there.
